U-21 European Championship 2011: Armenia 4-1 Ireland

On November 17, 2009 Armenia U-21 National Team played its last match within the frames of U-21 European Championship 2011 Qualification round. Our team hosted Ireland U-21 National Team at Yerevan Republican Stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan and won the match 4:1. At the 30th minute of the first half Henrikh Mkhitaryan got free from the opponent defenders’ control and opened the match score. At the 61st minute of the match Mkhitaryan doubled the score from the centre. Four minutes later Ireland player Cillian Sheridan shortened the match score scoring a goal for his team. At the 75th minute of the match Armenia forward Hovhannes Goharyan scored the third goal for Armenia making the match score 3:1 and at 83rd minute Henrik Mhitaryan made hat-trick at the match precisely realizing the penalty.
