Armenia U-21 vs. Switzerland U-21 1:3
On September 4 Armenia U-21 National Team played its third match within the frames of 2011 European U-21 Championship. The opponent was Switzerland U-21 National Team this time. The guests managed to open the match score at the first minutes of the match already. Xavier Hochstrasser scored. But our team could restore the score balance quickly: Hirac Yagan scored getting the ball from corner kick. Armenia is on the 125th place in FIFA Coca Cola ranking
In comparison with the previous month Armenia moved down two steps in FIFA Coca Cola ranking, issued on 2 September 2009 and occupied 125th position. There are no changes in top three: The world five-time champion Brazil leads the ranking table followed by European champions Spain on the second place. Holland completes the top three. 1. Vardan Minasyan announces Armenia National team squad
Armenia National Team head coach Vardan Minasyan announced the team squad for 2010 World Cup Qualification round Armenia vs. Bosnia and Armenia vs. Belgium matches. On September 1-8 Armenia National Team will hold a training camp in Yerevan. The team will stay at Regineh hotel and the trainings will be held at Pyunik Stadium.
