Jan Poulsen is a Danish specialist who is football for many years. In 80s, during 9 years, he coached many Danish football clubs.
1990-1992 he was Denmark national team head coach assistant. Together with Denmark, he achieved the title of European Champions.
From 1992 to 1999 he has been Denmark U-20 coach. During EURO 1996 and WC 1998 he was in Denmark national team coaching staff. From 1990 to 1999 he worked at the Danish Football Association as the technical director.
From 1999 to 2003 he was the technical director of Singapore national teams.
From 2001 to 2003 he played a big role in Singapore’s national team as the head coach.
In 2006 he worked with Jordan under 20 team. 2007 was a remarkable year in Jordan football history as U-20 team showed excellent results and earned World Cup finals place.
Jan Poulsen has UEFA coaching “Pro” license, he is an instructor of Danish football Association, organizes “Pro”, “A” and “B” licensing courses.
