After squad announcing Mr. Poulsen made little comments about his choice

Edgar Manucharyan’s absence is cause of injury. I refused to call to national team Romik Khachatryan and Karen Dokhoyan this time. I have already spoken with them and explained the reasons of my refusal. It will be very hard task to qualify to final tournament after two defeats. It’s time to give a chance to young players. Yes, Romik and Karen very experienced players, but they lost their speed. Only Sargis Hovsepyan and Hamlet Mkhitaryan stay in team out of aged players. Mkhitaryan has not shown his best in match with Turkey because of lack of game practice. But now he plays on regular basis and got a call in national team. Our tasks get complicated by Ararat Arakelyan's lаck of practice.

Poulsen also commented matches with Turkey and Spain.

Both matches went the way we didn't expect. The wish to play and fight on pitch was huge. But the pressure on players was big. Of course, everyone wants us to play and show world class football, but we must be realistic. We can achieve good results, as in matches with Portugal, Poland or Serbia. But it's hard for us to play 10 matches in a row, showing good football. We must realize that our rivals are ones of the best teams in Europe. We must be patient. We should start with development of grassroots and mass football, with coaches' education, with conditions improvement. One of the problems of Armenian football is absence of mentioned in regions. Yes, we have exceptions, but situation is unsatisfactory.
I accept criticism for my person, but I can't understand those who before the match against Turkey expressed satisfaction for our job as first time in history Armenia national team lost just once in 6 matches. And after two defeats the talks about hopeless situation in Armenian football started again. It's unfair, related to players at first.

Danish specialist mentioned about positive steps in football development in republic.

We became the member of mass football organization and now we can await support from UEFA. Also we have got the right to hold coaches examination to provide B coaching license.

Armenia national team head coach said a few words about upcoming matches with Belgium and Bosnia.

Both teams are good European level teams. It's important to impose them our game and in this case we can achieve a good result. Of course it will be hard to do, because we will play on their fields. There are no easy games. We will fight till the end. What about qualifying into final tournament, well it's not realistic, but it's not impossible.
