Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Armenia 4:1

On October 15 Armenia National Team played its fourth match within the frames of World Cup 2010 Qualification round group stage and suffered its fourth defeat in a row. Our team competed with Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team at Zenica Bilino Pole stadium this time.

The host team started the match actively making troubles for our goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky more then once already at the beginning of the first half. Despite of that our team could change the match course and started counterattacking. Bosnia goalkeeper Goran Brasnic had to make all his efforts to stop Armen Karamyan’s shot. Later on Roman Berezovsky made a mistake after corner kick and Spahic scored into almost defenseless goals. Six minutes before the end of the first half FC Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeco doubled the score and the teams went to halftime with Bosnia two goals advantage.
The rival started the next 45 minutes the same way as the start of the match and Bosnia substitute Zlatan Muslimovic scored the third goal for his team leaving no hopes of victory for Armenia. Our guys succeed in scoring only once (FC Ararat player Vahagn Minasyan) witch was Armenia first goal during World Cup 2010 Qualification round group stage. Bosnia midfielder Muslimovic completed the match scoring his second goal for his team.
