Karen Mikaelyan is European Fustal second striker
European Futsal Championships’ best forward is rewarded with Umbro European Futsal Golden Shoe every year. The point calculation is made by the following rules: the championships are divided into 6 groups according to their coefficients. Every championship has its coefficient the number of scores is multiplied with, for example Armenia Futsal championship has the lowest coefficient 1 and Spain, Portugal and Italy Fustal championships have the highest coefficient 2.
Russian TTG-Yava Brazilian legionary Eder Lima is recognized as the best forward 2007/2008, scoring 73 goals (coeff. 1.6). Polytekhnik Yerevan player Karen Mikaelyan is in the second place scoring 107 goals (coeff. 1). Worth to mention that Armenia Futsal National Team player Armen Gyulambaryan has won The Golden Shoe tree times.
