Licensing Committee meeting took place

The FFA Club Licensing System Licensing Committee (First Instance Body) convened its meeting on 11 May 2009. The destiny of the “UEFA Licence 2009/2010” was determined during the meeting.
We’d like to remind our readers that in contrast to the “national licence” core process, where all Top Division clubs participated, this one was “attended” only by FC Pyunik, Ararat FC, FC Gandzasar, FC Mika and FC Banants, which issued their financial documentation based on the FFA Club Licensing System Manual (Version 3.0) to the FFA Licensing Department.
The Licensing Committee meeting was chaired by the FFA Deputy CEO, Licensing Committee Chairman Armen Ghambaryan with participation of the Committee Deputy Chairman Ashot Manukyan and members Marina Tashchyan, Khachik Danielyan and Hakob Hambartsumyan. The FFA Licensing Department was represented by the Licensing Manager Arno Sargsyan, Deputy Licensing Manager Arthur Azaryan and experts.
During the meeting Licensing Department representatives gave detailed explanations to the preliminary reports issued for the Committee.
As a result the Licensing Committee took the following decisions:
  -to grant licences to FC Pyunik, FC Gandzasar, FC Mika and FC Banants;
  -to refuse licence of Ararat FC due to the breach of the Financial criteria of the FFA Club Licensing Manual (Version 3.0).
Ararat FC has already been informed about the aforesaid decision, as well as about its appeal right and procedure. In case of the appeal, the FFA Club Licensing System Appeal Committee will convene its meeting on 26 May 2009.
