Post-match reactions

Samvel Adamyan, Armenia Women National Team Head Coach

I would like to congratulate Estonia on victory first. We didn’t play well. Maybe one of our failure reasons was that some of our players didn’t feel well on the eve of the match. Besides, we were not able to involve our two main players Kristine Aleksanyan and Gayane Kostanyan in the tournament since they play in Lebanon now. We had played against Estonia several months ago in Macedonia within frames of a similar friendly tournament and won the match. Estonia has a new head coach now and I can say that quite qualitative work has been done with the team during this period. In any case we will prepare for the next match with a purpose to win only.

Keith Boanas, Estonia National Team Head Coach

First of all I would like to thank the tournament organizers for the reception and the work that has been done. As for the game, I would like to say that we succeeded in winning the match at the second half easily which was a bit unexpectedly for me since the teams played as equals during the first half and had equal chances to score.
I think that such tournaments greatly promote women football development.
