U-21 UEFA European Championship: Turkey 1- 0 Armenia

On October 13 2011 U-21 European Championship Turkey vs. Armenia match took place at Eskisehir Ataturk Stadium. The match ended 1:0 for the hosts. Having territorial advantage over the rival and getting two real chances to open the match score neither Aziz nor Yilmaz from Turkey National Team scored. Armenia National Team tried to keep the ball giving the opponent no chance to act quickly and combined.

Turkey National Team started to play more actively at the second half and because of our goalkeeper Eduard Hovahnnisyan’s skills only couldn’t open the match tally. Besides out team had a real chance to score at the end of the match. A few second before the end of the match Turkey most active player Aydin Yilmaz scored giving the long-awaited victory to his team.
