The road to Europe is open and licensed

Today, on 11 May, the FFA Licensing Committee (LC - First Instance Body) regular meeting took place in the FFA headquarters. We would like to remind that the 1st meeting of the season took place on 10 March and was purposed to determine the clubs, which deserve “national” licences for participation in Armenia’s Top Division championship 2010.
This time licensing documents were introduced by FC Pyunik Yerevan, FC Mika Yerevan, FC Ulisses Yerevan and FC Banants Yerevan – candidates for participation in UEFA club competitions of the season 2010/2011.
The meeting was conducted by the LC Deputy Chairman, FFA Vice-President, Ashot Manukyan with participation of the LC members Edgar Manukyan, Khachik Danielyan and Hakob Hambartsumyan. The FFA Licensing Department was represented by Licensing Manager Arno Sargsyan, Deputy LM Arthur Azaryan, media officer Tigran Israelyan and experts.
Financial documentation of the clubs and auditors' reports for 2009 in particular were introduced during the meeting. These results were introduced by Licensing Manager A. Sargsyan and Deputy Financial Expert Gevorg Papikyan.
Based on that information, the Licensing Committee issued its decision to grant licenses to all 4 clubs. It means that in the UEFA club competitions season 2010/2011 Armenia will be represented by FC Pyunik (Champions League), FC Mika, FC Ulisses and FC Banants (Europa League).
Anyway, this “licensing season” is not over with this. Based on UEFA requirements, clubs must inform the FFA about any changes that occurred (e.g. personnel & administrative). This monitoring is what will be implemented by the FFA till December, when the new club licensing cycle will start.
