2013 Women’s European Championship. Malta - Armenia 1:1
Armenian team won first place in the group tournament of preliminary round of the UEFA Women’s European Championship 2013 and qualified to the qualifying round. In the last match, our team played a draw with a score of 1:1 with Malta. Match score was opened by Rachel Cushieri at the 14th minute, the 64th minute Kristine Mangasaryan clearly realized the penalty.
In the second match of the day the Georgian national team defeated the team of the Faroe Islands 1:0.
Thus Armenia women's team advanced to the qualifying round of European Championship. In the qualifying round teams will be divided into seven groups, matches will be held in a round robin system starting from 17th September 2011 to 19th September 2012.
