Ruben Hayrapetyan: “I don’t intend blaming the coach in everything”
On October 30 FFA President Mr. Ruben Hayrapetyan’s press conference took place at FFA Headquarters. FFA new official logo versions were presented at first. The versions were discussed with the journalists present at the press conference. The new official logo will be confirmed at the FFA annual meeting at the end of the year. Armenia U-17 loses against Estonia
Late in the evening on October 27 Armenian U-17 National Team played its last match within the frames of European U-19 Championship qualification round group-stage taking place in Tenerife, Spain. The rival was Estonia U-19 National Team this time. Our team still had a chance to qualify for the next round after the third matchday. We had to win the match against Estonia with possible big difference and hope that the host Spain will accordingly defeat England at Spain vs. England match. Erebuni wins Armenia Futsal Cup 2008
On October 25 Armenia Futsal Cup final took place at Mika Sports Complex. Two Yerevan teams Tal Grig and Erebuni played for the honorary award. The rivals played as equals during the first half and it ended 3:2 in Erebuni’s favour. Tal Grig had some more real chances to score but the rival team goalkeeper Harutyunyan acted brilliantly or the shots were not accurate enough. Erebuni consequently scored twice again stopping all Tal Grig attacks. Ruben Nazaretyan's team could only shorten the match tally difference.
