On November 21, 2009 Armenia Women National Team played its regularly scheduled match within the frames of 2011 Women World Cup qualification round. Our team met Finland Women National Team at Helsinki Finnair stadium and lost 7-0. Osterberg Kalmari and Sjolund scored three times each and Rantanen scored a goal for Finland. In comparison with the previous month Armenia moved up a place in FIFA Coca Cola ranking, issued on 20 November, 2009 and occupied the 99th position. U-21 European Championship 2011: Armenia 4-1 Ireland
On November 17, 2009 Armenia U-21 National Team played its last match within the frames of U-21 European Championship 2011 Qualification round. Our team hosted Ireland U-21 National Team at Yerevan Republican Stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan and won the match 4:1. At the 30th minute of the first half Henrikh Mkhitaryan got free from the opponent defenders’ control and opened the match score.
