Armenia is on the 100th place in FIFA Coca Cola ranking
In comparison with the previous month Armenia moved down 25 places in FIFA Coca Cola ranking, issued on 16 October, 2009 and occupied 100th position. There are no changes in top three: The world five-time champion Brazil leads the ranking table followed by European champions Spain on the second place. Holland completes the top three. 1. On October 16, 2009 Football Federation of Armenia starts accreditation of journalists for 2011 Women World Cup Qualification round Armenia vs. Italy and Armenia vs. Slovenia matches accordingly staged on October 24 and October 28, 2009. The accreditations will be given by name and for the above mentioned match only. U-19 European Championship: Romania 1:0 Armenia
Armenia U-19 National Team played the last match at U-19 European Championship group tournament. Our team competed with Romania and lost 0:1. The only goal at the match was scored by Romania player Stoian at 13 minute (penalty). Austria vs. Scotland match ended 1:0 to Austria. Scotland, Romania and Austria are accordingly in the first, second and third places earning 6 points each and Armenia lost all three matches. U-17 European Championship: Austria vs. Armenia 1:1
Armenia U-17 National Team played its last match at U-17 European Championship group tournament against Austria and tied 1:1 draw. Austria player Prosenik opened the match score at the 51st minute and Armenia player Ararat Poghosyan scored a goal in return at the 62nd minute restoring the match tally balance. U-21 UEFA European Championship: Turkey 1- 0 Armenia
On October 13 2011 U-21 European Championship Turkey vs. Armenia match took place at Eskisehir Ataturk Stadium. The match ended 1:0 for the hosts. Having territorial advantage over the rival and getting two real chances to open the match score neither Aziz nor Yilmaz from Turkey National Team scored. Armenia National Team tried to keep the ball giving the opponent no chance to act quickly and combined.
